Information
Hosting your event at The Golden Age of Trucking Museum provides you and your guests with an experience that they will never forget!
You are encouraged to enjoy the many exhibits located throughout the museum. We work with you to customize your event so that all of your needs and requests will be accommodated. Our flexibility and willingness to work with our clients is one of the reasons why many of our customers recommend us. Another reason is that we pride ourselves in providing a clean and comfortable environment.
Your event may be set up in our Founder’s Gallery with up to 75 guests or in the Main Exhibit Showroom with up to 250 guests. We also have a Media Room which accommodates 40 people and our Indoor Picnic Area with seating for 50. If your event is a non-seated event, such as a cocktail party, the maximum number of guests may be increased.
We have hosted informal to formal occasions and everything in between; weddings, showers, graduations, christenings, birthdays, anniversaries, dances, fundraisers, bar mitzvahs, business meetings... We have a list of preferred caterers , entertainment contacts (DJ services, live bands...), limousine services, photographers and hotel accommodations. We can arrange the details of your event or you may choose to handle that on your own.

The Golden Age of Trucking Museum is a non-profit organization and we provide a 10% discount to other non-profits interested in rental space. Museum members also receive a 10% discount. The museum is located at 1101 Southford Road in Middlebury, Connecticut. We are 5 minutes from exit 16 off of I-84; take a left at the end of the exit and we are 1/4 mile on the right. Our accessibility is another reason to choose us!

Childrens Birthday Parties You provide: Birthday cake, paper products and drinks. You may also bring a prepared lunch if desired. Please leave the birthday area as your found it and remove all your trash to the dumpster at the end of your party. Thank you for your cooperation. We respectfully request that you and your guests adhere to the time limitations of your party.
The museum is not responsible for supervision of the children at any time during the party. Children are not allowed to run through the museum unattended. They need to be with an adult at all times. We want the children to be safe and have fun too! We are handicap accessible. Prices subject to change |

$4.00 per child - $5.00 per adult
The Golden Age of Trucking Museum is designed to accommodate children
of all ages. The Interactive Interstate, Children's area, is equipped
with two computers, a big rig arcade game (50 cents per play), two Lego
tables, a reading corner, games, puzzles and
a cut away Volvo truck.
There are twenty-three antique trucks, antique boats and a toy truck
display for the children to view.
We also have a gift shop if the children are interested in purchasing
souvenirs. There is an area for children to leave their coats and snacks
or lunches. There are also picnic tables for dining.
A Museum tour is twenty to thirty minutes; there may be thirty to sixty
minutes of free time in the children's area, and twenty minutes for
lunch. The times vary according to the ages of the children.

restored antique trucks, antique boats and an extensive collection of
collectibles toy vehicles. There is an informal reading lounge where
visitors may browse through transportation related books, journals and
magazines. There is an indoor picnic area available to our visitors.
The Gift Shoppe has an assortment of clothing toys, books, candles,
jewelry, novelty gifts and snacks.
