Rental Opportunities

Hosting your event at The Golden Age of Trucking Museum provides you and your guests with an experience that they will never forget!  You are encouraged to enjoy the many exhibits located throughout the museum. We work with you to customize your event so that all of your needs and requests will be accommodated. Our flexibility and willingness to work with our clients is one of the reasons why many of our customers recommend us. Another reason is that we pride ourselves in providing a clean and comfortable environment.

Your event may be set up in our Founder’s Gallery with up to 75 guests or in the Main Exhibit Showroom with up to 250 guests. We also have a Media Room which accommodates 40 people and our Indoor Picnic Area with seating for 50. If your event is a non-seated event, such as a cocktail party, the maximum number of guests may be increased.

We have hosted informal to formal occasions and everything in between; weddings, showers, graduations, christenings, birthdays, anniversaries, dances, fundraisers, bar mitzvahs, business meetings... We have a list of preferred caterers, entertainment contacts (DJ services, live bands...), limousine services, photographers and hotel accommodations. We can arrange the details of your event or you may choose to handle that on your own.

The Golden Age of Trucking Museum is a non-profit organization and we provide a 10% discount to other non-profits interested in rental space. Museum members also receive a 10% discount. The museum is located at 1101 Southford Road in Middlebury, Connecticut. We are 5 minutes from exit 16 off of I-84; take a left at the end of the exit and we are 1/4 mile on the right. Our accessibility is another reason to choose us!

The Golden Age of Trucking Museum, Inc. is a non-profit organization. When renting to other non-profits we do offer a 10% discount. Museum members also receive a 10% discount. If your event is a “non-seated” event the maximum number of guests may be increased.

Opportunity for your guests to view museum

You provide: Birthday cake, paper products and drinks. You may also bring a prepared lunch if desired. Please leave the birthday area as your found it and remove all your trash to the dumpster at the end of your party. Thank you for your cooperation. We respectfully request that you and your guests adhere to the time limitations of your party.

The museum is not responsible for supervision of the children at any time during the party. Children are not allowed to run through the museum unattended. They need to be with an adult at all times. We want the children to be safe and have fun too! We are handicap accessible. Prices subject to change
